How Much Can Sheet Numbers Matter

I may not even be using the term correctly. Never learned if the numbers on sheets were sequential or plate numbers or what. Please forgive that ignorance. Do number impact value? I have about 30-40 sheets I am going to sell as a lot and I noticed a couple with numbers '1' in them.

Does that impact value/perceived value?

Those are called plate numbers. All sheets should have them (but the won't always be a 1).
In a relatively few cases a certain plate number is scarcer than others for a particular issue, but if you only have 30 sheets the odds are stongly against your having one that is uncommon enough to affect the sheet's value.

The United States Stamp Society publishes the Durland Plate Number catalog. It includes values that at least may given an indication which numbers specialist may be interested to pay more.
