I got this little stamp in recent lot and I have had trouble identifying it. Based on its small size I believe it might be a cash savings stamp of some sort. I have seen one image of a similar design online but have found nothing else. Thought it may be from Germany but google translate says it's French. Any information would be very helpful.

"Spar-Marke" (German) = "Timbre Rabais" (French) = discount stamp
Most likely from Switzerland

It might be Merkur AG, a Swiss chocolate retailer and later also coffee house. It was acquired by Läderach in 2004.

It's also the name of a German car company, so who knows for sure

Switzerland is a good call though, especially how mine and the other example switch between German and French. Feel like stamps from those countries wouldn't use the other's languages, but both are official languages in Switzerland, so that lines up.

As you write and vayolene suggested earlier, the bilingual stamps do point at Switzerland. Merkur was a German brand for Ford between 1984 and 1989. Those stamps do not really look like being from that period. Furthermore, I would stay away from any car brand that offers you centimes savings stamps with validity that ended 60 years earlier when you buy a car. Also, the 'cts' are centimes that limit the source to a few countries.

Merkur, by the way, also is an Austrian supermarket brand.
