I'd appreciate ideas/experiences on selling plates blocks. I have a couple hundred ranging from 3c up thru 20c. Anyone found a sweet spot for selling plate blocks? As a buyer I'm always sensitive to shipping, so my selling instinct is to sell them in groups sized to make the shipping a relatively small % of the sale price. Any experience to share on what works and does not for selling plate blocks?

In the past I have sold complete groups by year or even decade. If memory serves, they sold for full face value on ebay. Not sure if you have complete runs that make sense to group.

If not complete runs as noted above nor individual items of interest, then they go as bulk postage at 60-70% face.

For the best return rate with the least effort, I would use them as postage on mailing other lots.

I love that. I can see myself wallpapering 11x9 envelopes with 3c stamps

Just search on ebay plate block lots and what has sold in the last 30 days. you will see what the customer is buying. Some are much better returns than others.
