It's a Scott# 611b 40˘ Four-eyed Butterfly Fish, with a "1990" inscription at the bottom Center. Problem is Scott lists the value of this stamp, and the 615b, as a big ol'e BLANK! (or a dash...)

I know what that means, but find it hard to believe for a 1990 issue.

I'm replying to this dormant topic because I have the same question. Unfortunately, my 2011 Scott doesn't even list the 40 cents as a 611b. I also have the $1 with the same 1990 inscription, which, I guess, would be the 615b. Both have the watermark 384 (script CA), so I think that 611b and 615b are correct. Does anyone have a newer Scott Catalogue to see if they fixed this discrepancy? For reference purposes, here are the clips from my 2011 Scott:

Of course, the watermarks referenced in Scott:

And here is the closeup showing 1990 on the 40c and $1 stamps:

Any help would be appreciated. And, if you remember, be sure to enter for some nice Bahamas drawings here:

Yes, that's what I was thinking. However, still odd that only those two values have dashes in them. Oh well, thanks.

I have to believe that SG lists this variety, however I am unable to dig mine up after a recent move.
