This is why I have always hesitated to buy a Signoscope.
I have been looking at buying one but I have seen no convincing examples where it was able to take away all doubt about a difficult watermark. Spending a couple hundred euros on a lamp that clearly shows watermarks that are easy to identify anyway appears a waste of money to me.
The image was actually more easily visible with the light. With fluid I had a hard time getting an image before the fluid evaporated and image disappears.
