What is the best way on ebay to sell multiple stamp sheets in one sale? Not interested in selling each sheet individually. The stamp category seems to have several different subcategories. Which sub-category and buzzwords would work best to facilitate a sale?

Need more specifics to recommend anything other than "Stamps > United States > Sheets".

Include the Scott catalog number, quantity of sheets, and stamp subject in the title. If multiple issues, list the denomination(s) and total face in the title.

As for buzzwords, for this category, "50% of face" or "25% below face" and "free shipping" should attract more interest.

Multiples, especially mixed multiples tend to go as discount postage. Individual sheets go for over face when including P&H, if not over face before S&H.

If you have any stamps designed for primary use on wedding invitations, especially the ones for two ounces (two ounce total, not just the second ounce) those can go for multiples of face.

If you have your SCF email set to receive emails from other SCF members, I will try and send you an email on this subject. Edit: Well that was a failure....

One seller I pay attention to sells 300-400 lots per week with includes listing of mint US panes and has done so for years. Overall what mint US panes he lists go on average over face before S&H plus, for those unlucky many, state sales taxes. The only recent departure from that was Sunday 12-24-2023, Christmas Eve. I scored some good material at 30-61% face which normally I would not win. I guess folks were preoccupied with football and other activities -- go figure. That said I don't want to blast his seller ID here on SCF but would be happy to shoot an email to you with it. That way you can look at his history and see his mint US pane sold sale prices for yourself.

PPG: Thank you for the helpful information. Do you think that seller's $3.95 shipping fee comes with tracking?

For USPS sealed sheets with cardboard backing that have a FV or between $3.70 and $6.40, would those require a first class package or could they be sent in a first class large envelope with no tracking? The USPS website mentions a bending/stiffness test to determine whether a mailing classifies as a package. In my opinion, that test seems subjective depending on how much force is applied. If I were to sell each sheet individually with no tracking and place in a large first class envelope, it would be less expensive for the buyer, but I could get a dishonest buyer who claims it never arrives. If I use tracking, that prevents the former, but do you think most buyers would want to pay $3.95 extra for tracking on a low FV sheet?

The "stiffness test" is for machinable versus non-machinable with the later having a surcharge. Packages don't care about machinability.

As to your shipping/tracking questions, ask the buyers. Only their preference matters.

The standard is, does not bend easily when subjected to a transport belt tension of 20 pounds around an 11"-diameter turn.

If you have something with a diameter of 11 inches, you can see if the envelope readily bends around it. (A standard basketball is just under 10 inches in diameter, so if it readily bends around a basketball, you're probably going to be fine.)
