Hi Guys!

I hope to get your expert opinion on the matter:

Going through my 2c Washingtons. Is that a lips fancy cancel?

I have several types of fancy cancels, which ones are worth having in the collection?

Thanks!

Rotating the stamp to place the circular town mark at the left, I see a butt-crack instead!

Seriously though, there is nothing "fancy" about this killer. I see no effort at creativity or intent to make anything special.

Well, may be it is a 'killer' but it looks like lips to me and in this case it's pretty creative...

I have to agree that some of these cancels can have interesting interpretations, because they wore out quickly often being carved from softer woods, and often being blobs to start with. Rorschach would have a field day with some of these.
