Looking For Help Identifying Half Stamp On Cover

Looking for any assistance even just to identify the country on the half stamp used on cover that I have. It appears to be a King Carlos issue from the late 1800s but I can't find a match so far in any Portuguese or Brazilian country.

I did manage to finally locate this.

It appears to be Macao Scott #125a

You might try Macau. You can see a couple of the letters at the bottom of the portrait and at the bottom of the postmark (which is, of course, at the top and upside down).
