Is this a DT or a kiss imprint? the doubling is not complete but over the whole stamp. epecially the text at the bottom of the stamp. the inner side frames are partially doubled the top left edge just past the date to going right. Below the S in natives. The 10 on both sides. Also top perfs are fake.

Looks like a bad wipe job, just poor inking.

I tried to measure the perfs at the top but I couldn't get them to align. they are varied spacing.

I just found on ebay a listing with my exact doubling! What does that mean? Oh but not with the great reperf job at the top.

Here is the stamp on ebay. Numerous identical marks to what I have. The 10s match, the markings in the inner frames left and right. Top outside frame, the doubling of the text at bottom. The markings at bottom right block.

So do we have an opinion now? As you can see all that extra ink is doubling. the other known 2 DTs that you talk about, if I am correct, are just one line doubling, nothing like this one.

That is one of the major goals of those seeking plate varieties - to find a confirming example from the same plate position and eliminate the possibility of it just being a random inking or printing anomoly.
