I have a couple of KGV Fiji definitive issue stamps that have been over printed with the letter R and a vertical line on the left hand side both in black (see attached scan). Can anyone let me know what this means and if the stamp has any value

A google Images search suggests R = Revenue.

Yes, Revenue. Two issues, 1914 with Multiple Crown CA watermark and 1922 with Multiple Script CA.

Both priced at £15.00 in Barefoot Commonwealth Revenues catalogue 2019.
