The Schuyler Rumsey auction at Westpex (April 25-28 Sale 115) has been posted to SAN and it looks to be a good one. It starts with a small but powerful section of world stamps and postal history, then a large selection of US postal history which is Rumsey's specialty, and finally a strong selection of US singles and collections. I just wish that more of the collections had photos. In comparison, Kelleher does a great job with photos and videos of collections, but many of Rumsey's collections have no photos at all. While a photo or video flip-through is not a replacement for on-site inspection, it greatly helps narrow down which collections to view and which to skip.

The Rumsey Westpex auction actually consists of 3 different sales. There is a separate catalog for Confederate States Postal History (Sale 116) and the Dr. Armondo Grassi Collection of Classic US (Sale 117). If you collect (or just like to look at) high quality US, especially used or with fancy cancels, you will want to review at the auction catalog for the Grassi sale.
