Wife and I are driving up to the Anglican Church to photo more grave sities and research more info about their dealing with Stanley Gibbons on their sale of Hawaiian stamps back in 1870's and 1890's period .
We will also help make Portuguese Bread and baked in clay ovens ,then the Kona Historical Society sells the limited amount of bread to the public who buys them out by 1;30 each time they have it for sale .
This was the largest offering of used Hawaiian Stamps to the stamp community .
Hope to put up pictures when we get back home to Florida . Got a lot done while visiting .
The museum had a display of the Postmaster window with fake envelopes and packages ,who ever made the display had early turn of the century U.S. stamps glued to them . Over the years visitor ripped and torn off the stamps . I will be mailing them used U.S. stamps to replace them . Also thinking of making a display of Hawaiian stamps for them ,nothing expensive but it would be better to have more visual items for guest .
