Given that we see the weekly "eye for detail" feature on Friday mornings, I thought I would add an alternative Friday activity for those interested.
I enjoy creating word search puzzles though I rarely do them. The challenge is not fitting all the words into the puzzle; the computer does all the heavy lifting. The challenge (and fun) for me is doing the research to assemble the word list, and using excel formulas to strip word lists out of mixed words, definitions, explanations, and images found online. My puzzles are usually complex and difficult though I can make much simpler ones.
Over the course of time, I have created about 1,200 of these puzzles. Very few puzzles are ever really complete given the number of possible words that fit a subject and the limitations of space.
Will do my best to only post puzzles with philatelic relevance and to start, please enjoy finding the names of well-known stamp dealers in the puzzle referenced below. The web site does not have functionality for solving the puzzles so the best bet is to print them out and enjoy with a cup of coffee.
Any and all feedback or suggestions are strongly encouraged.
