Greetings,
I have this 1˘ blue Nicaragua Revenue stamp overprinted "Correos-1908" and cannot find a reference to it in any of my catalogues. I see lots of similar items but none exactly like this one. I did see it mentioned in the Klaseboer pages but no catalogue reference information. Can you help me find this one in a catalogue?

Thanks for any and all assistance.

Simple answer ,there is nothing in my collection and nothing in the catalog that show a fuzzy and blurred overprint like that . I have to say it looks like a home made overprint .I have dozens of overprints and nothing is close to that . May be a local issue but I doubt that .

Could it be a blurred overprint, the kind they had between 1900 - 1910? There seems to be a few that read Correos with the year following. I was unable to zoom in to see if the year can be deciphered. It would be helpful to anybody who tries to read that you turn the stamp 90 degrees so the overprint is on the horizontal plane.

Edit:: on second look is it 1908 or 1909?

Here is a view with the overprint reading horizontally.

And here are a couple of views from Postmark Reveal

Pretty sure it's 1908.

Scott catalog says of type A 20 in the foot note ,they have no A20 in the catalog .

Here is the neat ,professional done overprint on the 1908 Nicaragua stamps ,it is consistant with early and later overprinting . Nice clear overprints .

Please note the cancel on his copy is the same as on my copy ,the two orange stamps have different color overprints ,one in black and the other in green .
