It that the highest amount ever paid for a single US stamp? I think it must be.

Gross was probably correct in saying time to sell. Considering what he traded Mystic for it, he lost big time, imo. The near perfect C3a sold last year for about $2 million. The plate should be much above $3.7 imo.

$4,366,000 is the price to the buyer, hammer and buyer fee. Where I live, sales tax would add another $360,195.

His C3a went at $495,600 with buyer fee.
