If I remember correctly this is a plate 11 or 12 showing no perfs on the center line

stallzer, lovely Plate 11 example. Like Plate 12, Plate 11 does not show center line perforations.

I went through most of my #26 & #24 covers, and others, and have not yet found any 1861 usages with perforated centerlines.

I found a fair number of #26 usages with perforations on or adjacent to the centerline, but all from 1858 and 1859.

I haven't found anything to change my mind.

tx, nor have I found any such piece that I can date to 1861.
