I saw an ad for MUDOR stock pages today, which took me to an Amazon web page. Anyone using these pages, please share your experience or what you might know about them.

I do not use Mudor brand. Mudor products are made in China. The manufacturing process of PET plastic releases harmful chemicals into the air. In a study, they state that various research and reports have found that making this plastic not only pollutes the air but also negatively impacts municipal wastewater and solid waste treatment facilities. Unfortunately, this affects surrounding communities.

I am not sure about "acid-free", but according to some reports, PET plastic can leak harmful chemicals into its contents. This chemical leaking is extremely toxic to humans.

That simply is not true. You will have a hard time finding a plastic bottle in any food store that isn't made with PET (Polyethylenterephthalate). Those plastic bottles have a barrier layer made with silica dioxide as PET is not impermeable for gases.

PET is safe for consumers and only turns into a problem if you burn it. When burnt uncontrolled, it emits carbon monoxide and aromatic stuff considered cancerous. It actually is degradable using a special bacteria.

Now the question is how the Chinese make their PET foils and bottles. They are not going to tell you, obviously. Most likely any foils you buy ultimately have a "Made in China" somewhere, explicit or implicit. If it says "Made in Brazil" it might actually be "Bio-PET" made from sugar cane.
