Very nice Works, although I rather prefer blank (just with a frame) pages. Just to point to our friend Dvaldemoro that the lighthouses are not Russian, but from all around the USSR (or Soviet Union, 1920-1991), as the stamps were issued on the early 80's. |

Thanks for the close up of the Azerbaijan stamp , BeeSee. It is ironic that the pic is of a peasant with a sicklesince within a year of the issue of these stamps, Azerbaijan was taken over by the Soviet Union. Maybe the designer had a premonition. They not only got the sickle but were also hammered. |

I always thought it would be funny if Bill Steiner joined a forum and posted to a thread like this. |

dvaldemoro, My! My! My! what talent you have. Your pages are Beautiful. Thank you for sharing them with us. Even the cancellation on the stamp in the right bottom corner looks like a continuation of the branch. |

I have to say these pages are quite nice. Gives me some idea of improving my own pages. A couple of my own pages for Postal History Collectors. |

Dvaldemoro - your pages are above philately, they are pieces of art! Thanks for sharing - keep them coming jimjung - I had great pleasure in seeing your own-designed pages, really well done . Nice presentation and study of the Turkey bisect postmark. But I particularly like the note about the sender of the Russian reg cover, which makes such a difference and lifts the item into a historical aspect beyond philately . I have made something kind of similar, in way of making pages including some historical aspect, https://goscf.com/t/42545&whichpage=9jon |
