I just tried: "1c 1851", and also "1c 1857" and it seemed to produce good results.

When you search using multiple words, it treats that as a phrase that must be matched exactly. Try single words.

Stamps4Life:

I'm not exactly sure what sort of detail you are looking for on Stamp Smarter, but one way to close in on information about a stamp is to go to the 1847USA page where you can search on many characteristics of different US Stamps.

Here: https://stampsmarter.org/1847usa/AL...ntifier.html

Another US stamp search option is the Stamp Finder:
https://stampsmarter.org/features/H...fiersUS.html

It is essentially another way to look for US stamps within Stamp Smarter.

These two features on Stamp Smarter are different ways to look up information about US stamps. I believe the Stamp Finder was created by Don during the early days of Stamp Smarter, then when the original developer of 1847USA decided to discontinue his website, Don offered to move it to Stamp Smarter even though there were many common features with his original Stamp Finder. I believe that each has many data elements in common, but each has some unique data.

If you don't find what you are looking for on either site, please post some specific information about what you are looking for.

The Stamp Smarter Search window you are trying to use is a high level search to direct people to features within the Stamp Smarter website, and does not have access to all of the "internal" details within the individual features.

I hope this helps.
