Your last set of pictures did not have any questions or comments posted, so I'm going to assume that you also believe there is something special about them. The answer you are going to get is the exact same answer you have been getting from the beginning of this thread ... everything is normal, no special variety, not printed on the gum side, none of them are.
Did you decide to send some in for expertisation? We'd love to hear who you sent them to and when you could expect to get an answer. |

Good morning,Could anybody help me with this stamps, I have some stamps, w gum on reverse, but this gum been skrached in 1 place, like someone was try to check something? Is it kind of examination method, but Of what? AnybodySome (non-philatelist) glued these two stamps into an album page, no hinges, just directly onto an album page. If you look on ebay, you'll find older album pages that have paper with a cross hatch pattern. That helps to align stamps horizontally, I guess. At some later date, somebody simply pulled the stamps from the page, leaving some of the paper on the stamp, hence you can see pieces of the coross hatch pattern. Your stamps are damaged, described as hinged with hinge remnant at best. If you contnue to bombard this forum with images (and no text or even a question alongside) you are rapidly approaching a posting ban. Do not show common stamps with a "Whatsit/Howmuch" question attached, at best. You can easily find the information using a google search in your browser. |

If I could get answer for this 2 Q only? 1.i Can see stamps GB 1960s with visible, First day of Issue cancellation, stamps been packed in string bags, in sets without envelope, all of them are mint without any sign of the reverse, mint unused? How its possible? Same Postage Due, I seen block of 20 Postage Due 4d ultramarine, without gum on reverse, and only cancellation on them, was has written black marker, across block, DO NOT USE.? Cillexrir was a Postman for 30 years.

1. If stamps have a first day of issue cancellation they cannot, by definition, be mint. They are used. They could still have gum, butthat doesn't change the fact that they're used stamps. 2. Postage dues could be applied in large quantities to collect money owed to the Post Office from businesses - they typically would not all be cancelled. |

Can someone direct Hektor to an established stamp dealer in the UK? Seems like that's the only way for him to get an answer he might understand. |

. I have used to compare, this really looks like Gum just Hasn't been applied, in production prices, that's why they been puted in separate bags. Like I said before I have 100s of Wilding stamps, cutted from one block without gum on reverse. |

They're cancelled, they're used - if you soak stamps off envelopes, there won't be any gum or anything else adhering to the back. |
