I have a 1985 copy of Gibbons Victory Vol 1, it's and excellent reference which covers Penny Reds pre 1864, but doesn't cover from 1864 onwards. I am looking for information as to dates when each plate came into used and retired, and the next plate came into use, and so on. Does the newer volumes of Gibbons cover that, or is there another reference that does?

Echizento, couple of problems here.
First, you need to post this under the British forum.
Secondly, this same question was asked recently. Please use the "search" button on the upper right hand corner of this page and you will find several posts of interest

As far as I am aware, the 1985 SG Specialised Vol. 1, Queen Victoria covers all Victorian stamps. You might want to look at the small print following the listings for information on individual plates.

The latest Vol. 1, Part 1 does contain the information.

PS, there is no British Forum on this site.
