I have some Australian ones used that KGV-Collector sent me, see the thread he started about personalised (note not personalized) stamps. I hadn't realized he sent them to me until I started digging through the bunch.

On SCF I started a thread about US personalized stamps also, Zazzle etc, although there are not many there to see.

The Austria ones are expensive and inspiring really. They (the Post Office) keeps track of each one or sheet issued so there is a record of them. What you are doing now actually, kind of similar.

Strangely enough I was just saving some pics from ebay of different personalized stamps from around the world. I had some saved before but computer crashed before I had backed them up.

Back up, back up, back up, especially with the 2013 super strong sun spots coming. Carve everything in stone tablets, lol.

I will scan and email you and also post on teh other thread here too.

The above one is an Australian example but I am having trouble finding used cancelled copies of them. If anyone can help me out with sources that would be great

Rod, nice stamps indeed. Thanks for the reply coupon scan.

The kangaroos bounding along is how I picture the outback sometimes.

Now get this, these stamps have just been made this year or last, issued in a quantity of 21 or 40 per self-adhesive sheet so really new and most likely kind of rare (unless made in larger quantities (40 x x sheets) for a business or organization).

Flower Baby stamp, Scott catalogue #2064.
Sold on ebay on Oct 2, 2011 for $18.59 with three bids in the last 15 seconds to take it from less than $10 to over $18.

Golfing Guy stamp, #2064.
Sold on ebay on Oct 2, 2011 for $19.38 with four bids in the last 10 seconds to take it from below $10 (that was me, the guy bidding below $10 ) to over $19.

You want some exciting stamps to bid on folks, here they are. Search for 'picture postage' on ebay, Scott catalogue 2063 - 2064 (Stanley Gibbons 2294 - 2295).

Anyone know the Michel (Mi) or Yvert et Tellier (YT) numbers please tell me so I can search Germany and France for these elusive stamps.

Gosh I really liked that Golfing guy, mainly because I thought (poor eyes) that he was out on a fishing boat and the grass behind him was greenish water or sun glare. Sigh.

I like action stamps, and animal stamps. Well, that flower on the baby is a really great shot also. OK, OK, I like them all!

Haven't seen it yet, have to scoot over to www.picturepostage.net and have a look see I think. Always exciting . . .

I don't know who the a***g fellow is, low feedback bidder so new, yes, but determined indeed. Speaking of determined, you seem to be in there also, but then again, you have been competing with these guys and I just have awakened from my centuries long slumber so have just encountered them. lol So you are knowing what to expect from them.

I haven't made any new ones yet, thinking about it all the time though. Popes would be welcome of course. I have that cover set out still for you and Bee See (and ccool too) but they got buried under hexagon stamps and cancels, shame on me. Need some organization here ()or someone to organize me! ha).

Have you heard from modcanjim at all? How is he?

Those are some realizations on ebay! Wow!

Like Puzzler, I have lots of catching up to do on the thread and my Picture Postage collection. Now that summer is over, it will be back to stamping

Rallyman, I took your world tour, it was great! I finally have my Tuvalu personal stamp, I will send you an image for the world tour. I will also be posting it in another thread. Hopefully I will get my covers back soon.

Nice old Datsun (Nissan) car, a classic, from rallymann along side a 60c 2011 (I presume), New Zealand 'Personalised Stamp' with a personalize label of the same car.

Many Thanks, nice stamps!

Puzzler - did you notice how the colour on the New Zealand stamp is way better than the colour on the Canadian one ( ordered the same day). I also tried to order USA ( Zazzle) and Austria with the same pic but they would not let me complete the transaction. Oh well.....Cheers

I can't resist.
The auction on ebay ending soon with 20 stamps has this one of a fishing boat / ship / vessel(?) at the bottom. It has a HALIFAX partial cancel so someone in Halifax or nearby mailed it and it went through the main sorting plant on Almon St.

The cancel is the same as the ones posted earlier in this thread at this link on page 17:
https://goscf.com/t/8790&whichpage=17#113056

Now all I have to do is look around the local area for a simlar ship and get a pic and information of it. That would be cool. Except I get sea sick.

Puzzler:
It must have been someone close to you who made the stamp. It may be time for some sleuthing to track him (her) down.
Call Hercule Pierot :)
