I am certainly interested in the windmill covers if Bee See has decided against them.

HI Guys:
I've been a busy little beaver - 6 inches of snow yesterday and I hate shoveling
I found some stickers that sold recently on Delcampe for $ 1.50 - go figure - too soon old - too late smart.
Here are the scans.
Now we need help finding Cupid and the Ottawa Senators - please post if you have them
Cheers
Murray

Hi Guys - I finally got the cover from the guy in Lethbridge - 10 days on good old Canada Post - they better be good because they certainly aren't fast. The fellow even used a Pic Post of his sheepdog on the envelop - bonus.
Here is the cover if it will fit:
Cheers

Puzzler: what do you think of the Pope stamp and cover. I think they did a pretty nice job. Pics attached:
I am working on an Alaska Cruise series as there aren't many of them for sale. I will post them when I get them back from postmarking.
I hope all is well in the merrytimes
Cheers

I've had items take 25 days to arrive from Eastern Canada to the Western US.

I like His Holiness's stamp. The cover is nice but the cancel is worthy of redoing, possibly with the coat of arms or some such. Too much repetition me thinks. Nice angle and colour overall though.

How many were made or how many covers were made, do you know?

The merry times. Ha. I almost laughed. LOL. Oops, I did laugh.

The jail looks like a railroad building used to store hand carts or something. Nice. I think it is nice when I see a cover with a special cancel that has one cancel just by itself on a bare piece of cover and the other attaching the stamp to the cover like on this one.

I have been slow as usual. Out today and bounding, yes bounding I tell you, about like a spring hare. Made myself a promise I would get myself together and get sent out all the stamps and covers I have owing (probably more than I can remember) real soon (this week). There, that's part of setting and achieving goals, giving a realistic time to do them in. Step two is having enough coffee IV-ed into my veins to start me up and get me going. lol

Canada Post released the following press release today (May 12/11):

Want to create your own stamps?
Canada Post has an app for that

Ottawa, ON – Canada Post today introduced new mobile applications that enable Canadians to create their own postage stamps while on the go. The new applications are available in iPhone, iPad, iPod, AndroidTM and BlackBerry formats and can be downloaded for free. These new applications join the growing suite of mobile apps now offered by Canada Post.

"This is a unique and creative way to capture special moments in one's life – whether it's to mark an occasion like a wedding, celebrate a loved one or commemorate a pet – and share it with friends and family," says Mary Traversy, Senior Vice President, Transaction Mail at Canada Post.

Picture PostageTM can be used the same way as any other stamp. The stamps are valued at the current domestic rate. This means that one Picture PostageTM stamp gets any standard-size envelope (up to 30 grams) delivered anywhere in Canada.

Each photograph submitted will be transformed into a sheet of 20 self-adhesive, domestic rate stamps with a souvenir picture enlargement for $27.95 or a full sheet of 40 stamps for $44.75.

For more information on Picture PostageTM or the full suite of Canada Post Mobile Apps, visit CanadaPost.ca.

Hi Guys:
I got my new Expeditor airplane stamps today and the Envelop had the heretofore missing CBN summer with a frame border so I am enclosing one so BeeSee can complete the Big 8. Also including the Expeditor stamp - who wants one ? Also did anyone receive the Fernie Fire covers I mailed?
Cheers

Love those bright sunflower stamps on the CBN Sumer photo album style framing stamps.

I have to get making some myself I thinks.

Saw the lots of 20 Picture Postage stamps go on ebay for $6 a piece and then a week or so later for $9 a piece. 20 x $9 = $180. Wow and I don't have half of them.

Have to get organized and focus.

Seems the only way to have some is to make your own!

But I am holding out some hope for the Stamp Club meeting this week. Fingers crossed. And then the stamp show t the end of the month. Have to get there early. The person at my stamp club that also collects Pic Post usually gets there first. Nice person though so I don't mind.

Rallymann you have been busy with your Indexing site for these stamps. Excellent work.

And there are my cat stamp and Bee See's dog stamp still up there as headliners.

I love the collections area.

Here's an idea for making a stamp.

If you can't make one with a stamp on it maybe you can make one with a stamp magazine on it like this 2010-1 Australian one on ebay from sydneystampcentre.

I stole this one from rallymann's web site, I liked it so much.
Merry Chistmoose from Florence Moosengale, a stamp from a nursing care company. Very cute. A take on the famous nurse Florence Nightengale.

Congratulations to the folks that made that one. Good sentiments and humour when you are sick and unwell. Good stuff.

Good work Puzzler. I am currently researching all the countries that issue personalized stamps and hope to include examples of each on the website soon. The above one is an Australian example but I am having trouble finding used cancelled copies of them. If anyone can help me out with sources that would be great, I already have Bosnia, Serbia, Slovenia and Austria as well as the USA. Let me know what you find sleuths....
Cheers
Murray
Also I really like this Australian space shuttle stamp if anyone runs into a used copy I will be interested in acquiring it!
