The paper color is slightly amber but not as bright

I can not find the die for the shaded left 2

Anyone know what UPSS # this is?

Thanks!

Looks like Die 81, Scott U277. UPSS no longer assigns numbers to cut squares. The shaded "2" variety is known to experts but is not listed in Scott and working dies for this item are not listed in the UPSS 19th century catalog.

Sorry, best I can do at the moment.

Try Dan Undersander, catalog editor, for a more detailed answer.

Thanks! I know that UPSS does not do Cut Squares for obvious reasons, but the shaded left 2 is so obvious, I thought that there had to be a die # or some story. I have been a member of the UPSS and have several of their books.
I always ask any questions here first as you guys are crazy smart on Philately!
