Karl Lachamacher, R.i.p.

I just found out today that Karl Lachemacher (board member name "lachemacher") passed away in December of 2023.

I hadn't received any email from him this year, but hadn't thought much of it, as I hadn't been focusing on plate varieties as much recently.

With Dick Celler predeceasing Karl, those were the last two other than Steven Perch that I am am aware of that were strongly into plating U.S. revenues.

A lot of knowledge has gone off into the forever over the last few years... sigh.
