Jorge, I assume most of the information you are posting comes from the ABNC Index Copy Cards you mentioned earlier. Apart from Chile, what other countries are covered on these cards?

GregAlex, exactly, the information comes mainly from the Index Copy Card of the ABNCo.
I've seen Cards of Peru, Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, Venezuela, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Haiti, Canada, Liberia, Belgian Congo, Luxembourg and Philippines.

Hi Folks - I'm a new forum member and signed up as I have an interest in ABNco issues of all sorts.

I thought readers would like to see this Cuban stamp printing plate

A few years ago, a coin dealer sold a few hundred ABNco plates, mostly stamps, on ebay. This is one I managed to buy.

While not stunningly elaborate or very decorative, it is still a nice piece of history. I tracked down that this is the red overprint with name and value for Scott #c149 and #c149a Cuban 1956 airmail stamps

The stamp images are ones found online and not mine. I have found some regular issue ones for sale which I will buy to "complete" the plate with it's actual end product.

There are various ABNco proofs found, and in different stages\colors.

The plate itself is a bit different from the previous plate I got, in that it seems chromed. It is also multiple images, so it may be an actual printing plate, rather than a die or master engraving.

Overall, fun to connect a printing plate to the actual item it created.

The placement of the overprints on your full plate appears to be for the printing of the souvenir sheets, in an 8-up configuration. They are too widely spaced to be the standard issue.

Another printing plate, this time for a piece of postal stationary. I believe this is for 1890's El Salvador.

The card is from an ebay listing. The plate is mine.

If anyone has any additional info, I would be grateful to know more.

@Junius Morgan, that Postal Stationery was printed by Hamilton Bank Note Co. N.Y. according to the contract established between Nicholas Seebeck and the government of El Salvador.
Although it was printed by lithography, the die was engraved in steel.
The transfers for the final printing were made from this die.
