Montenegro Overprint Albania Stamp Need Help Identifying Recieved But Not Sure What They Are

not sure its era, how many were produced and any alike stamps. What would it be valued at

I'm sure you already know that the original stamps are from Montenegro, King Nicolas I series, issued in 1913. History also shows us that WWI was beginning, and the entire region was about to change drastically. With the formation of Yugoslavia and all of the issues related to incorporating the various kingdoms of Slovenia, Kosovo. Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia, et al... None of my sources show those as issued but not used, or as occupation stamps.

Saying all that, I'm sure there was probably a desire of Montenegro to occupy Albania. Yet nothing in my meager sources reference anything like it, other than what if Montenegro did? Wanting to and actually doing... Borders and control of the region wasn't finalized for many years after the war. When Yugoslavia was formed, they agreed to tolerate each other for the most part. That only lasted until the 1990's. Hostilities in the region still have not cooled to this day.

Ive got a little albania collection due to my family being from shkodra which borders montenegro and is very close hence I picked them up, I've researched and couldnt find anything like them anywhere. I've got a thing for albania poatcard and stamps :) All post cards and orignal prints never used and like 85% of my stamps are Mint hinged and never hinged

Nice Collection. The first 7 images are basically Cinderellas. Printed for promotional use or gifts and the like. I did notice that you also have the double Eagle stamps that are known to be forgeries, also they were never put into service.

yeah I had to collect the 1921 stamps, they were forged in vast quantities and are as cheap as chips apart from that there arnt many forgeries here maybe someone of the korca 1917 were also know to have had large amounts of forgeries
