Hello everyone !
I know that there's a lot of Spain fakes stamps and I wonder if mine is a fake.

I heard that some people, in this period, were trying to defraud postal administrations and so they were making fakes stamps. And I think that these series of stamps already got falsified !

So, do you think it's a fake ?

This looks genuine - this is a very common stamp (1855-56, depending on watermark or not, this looks like Scott 45 with no watermark, based on the shade), with a typical grid cancel.

Postal forgeries of this 4c stamp are actually much less common (I sold one recently on cover for $185). And yes, both philatelic and postal forgeries of classic Spanish stamps are widespread, particularly for the higher values. Fortunately, there are good printed and online resources for identifying them.

The pic is not clear.
Looking at it ; looks like a genuine 4 cuartos and not a postal forgery.
The expression of the eyes and contour are different.The forgery has a meaner look.
Type XIII postal forgery below;
