Hi Trodent, my guess would be Pale Rose on the left stamp and Dull Orange Red on the right stamp

This Stamp Smarter resource is required reading whenever these color topics arise. The futility of trying to ID color varieties like this and the variables involved need to be fully understood.

Impossible to say from a scan. My intuition, for what little it's worth, tells me they are in the ballpark of 37b. There is a sharpness and evenness of impression to these which is subtle but is generally not seen on the roses or later dull and orange reds.

I should add that virtually all 37b's are on the same paper type, and that identification is also by gauging perfs andconsidering the paper.
