Anyone know where the French post office known as Arsenal Pagoda was in China?

That's what I thought but couldn't find confirmation. It would have been at the navel arsenal that France was helping the Chinese build. Is that correct?

I'm putting together a map for the album.

I think you meant to say "naval" instead of :navel" ? There is a difference (-:

Thank you one and all and yes, I most certainly meant "naval."

I'll ask again with the proper spelling:

Was the Arsenal Pagoda post office on the Fou-Tchéou Naval Arsenal?

Translation;
Foochow, capital of Fukien Province was opened
to foreign trade in 1842 by the Treaty of Nanking.
A Shanghai local post office was opened
at Foochow and at Pagoda Arsenal 10 miles up the river
around 1882 and its stamps were in use until 31
December 1894. The Foochow local post office was
opened on 1 January 1895.
February 3, 1897 is the date of the first day of Imperial Posts and
therefore the last day of use of local post stamps

While trying to find out the location of the Arsenal Pagoda post office I stumbled on a 1915 Chinese postal map of Foochow. If that's of interest to anyone it can be found online.
