Making a few on line ebay bids and noticed that one of my competitors has over 16,000 feedbacks and has 26% activity with a seller (Stampos_4) that has only 8 positive feedbacks and 49 total sales. How does that happen?

I believe that feedback is from a recent time period, not the entire duration of the account.

The % activity is part of a "30 day" report. I hadn't seen that statistic before you mentioned it and I went looking. What an odd and pointless thing to make available.

When I see a bidder with low feedback score and huge number of bids with the same seller I begin to suspect a shill bidder, particularly when there are also a lot of bid retractions/cancellations.
