Selecting a small group of stamps from Spain, I have come across a 4-quarter copy from 1862 SC#56 (Edifil#58 type II), and certain details have caught my attention...such as the absence of certain parts such as: part of the locks of hair , the shadows of the cheeks, or the shadows of the eyes, also the orb after "Spain" is a solid brown dot... at first glance and even if you look a little at the stamp it passes for authentic... but I I suspect it is a forgery, but not a fake to deceive collectors but a vintage fake to deceive the postal administration...what do you think? The first photo is the possible fake, the second is an original.
I have been searching on the web and I have found a priori original copies with the same lack of shadow in the eyes, nose and cheek in addition to the solid brown dot...so it is probably original. Anyway there is something. strange in it… This is one of the copies I found on the web
