A day late with this California County postmark that also uses Sep t. Looked too late but do have two other Sept. postmarks, but they were last week on Sept. 17 & 18th.  |

Three for today, two covers and a postcard. The first is an incoming letter to Lieut. Col S. G. Whipple, commander of the First Battalion of Mountaineers, California Volunteers.  Second is Official business (money order) with another Rohnerville Town & County postmark.  Next is an incoming postcard to Falk (also in Humboldt county, Cal.).  |

One more for todays date. Truth and Reconciliation Day - issued Today September 29, 2025 by Canada Post Corporation. All corporate post offices in Canada are closed today because CUPW is on strike . But the small sub post offices operated by Shoppers Drug Mart are open and staffed by non CUPW employes so they were available to buy and cancel but unable to place in mail system, unless you throw it in a mailbox which will sit there until the strike is over. Also a rear view of my FDC with the booklet information about the stamps from inside booklet attached.   |

Wow. Six cancels for today, Oct 1. Monroe, in Mendocino County, Cal.  Two pcs from aboard Willits & San Fran RPO, same addressee, same day in 1907. Another variety.   Hardy in Mendocino County.  Point Arena in Mendocino County.  And from Beatrice in Humboldt County.  |
