Two for Oct. 3rd.

The first cover is an odd one, looks like the P. O. didn't know where to send this. It was postmarked in the town of Mendocino (3 times) then sent on.



The next is a real photo card of the 1906 earthquake damage to Gualala's bridge, mailed 6 months later. I'll show both sides.

I found this sentence at the bottom of the page interesting but wasnt surprised.

The major difference is that the American crew carried revolvers. The Canadian crew did not.

The first cover is a U. S. P. O. D. Registered Package from Eureka, Cal.. How registered mail traveled.



Another Eureka & San Fran. RPO



A cover with a hand stamped corner? card from Hydesville in Humboldt County, Cal.. At one time the southern terminal of what would become Eureka & San Fran., but that is a much longer story.



The next three are out of Mendocino County. Cal.
A post card from Boonville,



an Albion incoming post card to from Lakeville, Cal.,



and a cover with 4 page letter from Ukiah.
