I have bought some stamps on Scott Intl pages. Rather than remove them from the bought pages and hinge them in the old album's pages, is there a way to open the Scott album to release and replace a few pages from one country?

What year is the album or can you post a picture or two?

Open the cover. lift any flap on the binder. You will either see two screw heads, or at the top a rod with right angle bend. if you see either you can get access the pages. If you don't you cannot. If you have a rod gently pull it out and lift the flap for entry. With screws both must be removed before lifting the flap off the posts.

A picture of the first page after opening the cover would help. Include where the cover meets the spine/posts/etc. It will help us see how the pages are held in the binder.

OK. Thanks. I see the rod with the right angle bend. I was able to slide it up so that was the key. Many thanks!

The blue binders (vs the Scott International Jr hardbound albums) have been easy to add/remove pages. I have bought country collections on pages and created the following International Album collections:

* Independent Asia to 1990+
* Middle East to 1980+

I didn't want to have Specialty albums of the above but wanted a place to put the stamps as I came across them.
A bit frustrating when new country starts on back of page.
I added a few Steiner pages cut to International size.

I take the International Scott pages and trimmed 1/4 inch (6.35mm) from each side, 3 hole punched (had to adjust punch to center holes) and put in a 3 ring Vario G binder. The National pages need a little more trimming but then National has a lot more unused space on left.
