It's a convincing description but just not for that (fake) stamp. Who could write that guilt-free? |

The stars looked shady but I guess they come in five very different variations. The winner will be confident that Queen Victoria is hiding behind the cancel. |

The stamp was misidentified as one of these. That's where the joke should have ended. Clueless auctioneer but still drawing bids... |

I'm not surprised. Sydney Views are expensive in any condition. Who isn't looking for a bargain? At $7.50 someone is going to get one Did you contact the seller to advise of the error in the listing? |

I did but I wasn't too helpful. Just let them know that a GB Two Pence blue does 'not look like that'. I don't know if they have the time to read feedback at all. |

I think the title was truncated and actually meant the stamp comes with a box of Maltesers... |

I wonder if the winner of the lot will come here asking how much his stamp is worth and get abusive when he is told it is a fantasy item that is not even worth 7.50 cents. |

It's a genuine New South Wales 2d Sydney View.
It's worth more than $7.50 to those that actually know what it is. |

Absolutely Captain Stamp.
It's either a plate 4 or 5 but you'd need to be in possession of the stamp to confirm.
It's plateable, so that's a part of the attraction.
The early Sydney obliterators are also studied, and this stamp certainly has a bold (and almost full) strike. |
