US Reindeer Stamp Color Error Or Color Fade.

The fist stamp is from my album and the second stamp taken from online. There is a color difference on the head and neck of the reindeer. Would much appreciate if anyone could give their opinions, if my stamp is a color error or faded.

I fully agree with the 2 previous replies. Your stamp is damaged and not an error. This article on the stampsmarter webpage should be useful. Note the reds and yellows of modern U.S. stamps are prone to sun-fading.

I also wish to point out that the stamp is physically damaged in addition to the chemically altered color.
