There is so much going on with this one. I really don't know where to begin other than with the numerals 4 and the words Fleet Of Columbus. I'd like to call this one a train wreck.

By Double Transfer do you mean the lines of color going through the letter "U" in the word United , and the lines of color next to the top left of the numeral 4 ?

I have this 525 I think it's D , D being Double Transfer Off Set , it also has lines of color going through the numeral "1" and letter "T" in the word cent.

I am not sure if those lines make it a double transfer , please advise .

First of all, that doesn't look like the right color for the grey green 525 offset, it looks like an ordinary engraved green.

Good eye looking for varieties, but I believe the lines in the T and 1 look like bad plate wiping, not a double transfer or double impression.

The plot thickens... Thanks for the info I got this image and desription from Swedish Fish. I now do see an entry in Scotts Catalogue describing a grey green 525 .
