I wanted to share with you this 10-issue strip of the Spanish model SC#647, issued between 1936 and 1940, featuring a bust of Queen Isabella the Catholic. It may be of interest to those who are more in-depth in this issue, especially its sheet composition. An interesting point is the shift of the imprint to the left side, especially noticeable in the second issue, as its normal position would be close to the right, as in the later issues of the strip.

Interesting shift, probably resulting from a repair.

Filatelia Hobby is offering singles (both mint and used) of the same stamp with a complete shift to the left (Edif. 823et). Quite expensive stamp with the full shift.

Design (imprint) shift? Isn't it just the perforations that moved?

A block with the normal position (also visible in the OP). To avoid confusion: the lower right stamp in the block has the imprint almost missing.

By the way, it is about the printer's imprint below the portrait, not the portrait itself.

This may be clearer:

If I understood it correctly, the sheets were made up from formes of 2 x 5 stamps with the value tablets engraved afterwards for each value. Wear and repair caused variation between corresponding positions within the sheet and between values.
