I am going to order one especially at the presale price of $66.25cdn + free shipping for Canadian addresses as advertised. But have more questions. So at almost the same dimensions as the " 2024 unitrade" catalogue, with 808 pages , this new one has only 724 pages as noted, I have to ask, did the print get smaller? Less images? How did you package more information in less pages?

Different formatting. The Trajan catalogue is three columns.

I estimate there are over 1,500 more images in this catalogue than in the 2024 Unitrade. I have not seen the new edition so I cannot compare to it.

There is new content, new features and more images in nearly every section than in the 2024 Unitrade.

How often will there be updates on our order status, if at all?

I am only involved in the editing of the Trajan catalogue; I am not involved with the shipping, etc. (as many know, I live in rural Manitoba whereas the folks at Trajan are in southern Ontario)

When I hear something more definitive on the availability I will post it here. I am just as excited to see the printed catalogue.

It's been a few years since I bought a new catalogue and was planning on
buying the new 2026 Unitrade but decided to take a chance instead on
The Trajan Canada Specialized Stamp Catalogue

I just placed the order.

Excided to see this new venture succeed, so I preordered a copy and anxiously await it's arrival.

Hello,
Interesting! We now have the choice between two catalogs, Unitrade and Trajan. How do we choose? A preview, a sample page would be nice.

Well, I have made the decision to purchase them both for this year. Both generally being 1st issues of the different editors will be interesting. .
Then I can do a side by side comparison, to garner the differing if anything, editorial and information contained in each. Will be interesting.

Disclosure - I am not compensated by any, but just for information. Both companies listed below have been used by myself with very good service.
coinstampsupplies- has the Trajan catalogue - prepublication price - $66.25 cdn
fvhstamps.com has the Unitrade catalogue at prepublication price of $67.95 cdn

Looks like we will have interesting fall, going through our new catalogues. Robin, very pleased that you remained well involved editing Canadian stamps catalogue. The Unitrade that we used as a bible certainly kept many of us looking, searching for all those varieties that you described so well in the last 20+ years.
I only hope one of those catalogue includes some more of the Canada Post special philatelic items like the Hockey stampcards of the All-Stars series of 2000 to 2005 (and the autographed ones).

Has FvH charged your cc yet? I ordered from them a week ago thursday and still no receipt if charge….. weird. But, they were quick to add my email to their spamming ads. Got them immediately same day I ordered.

FvH doesn't charge your cc until you pick it up or he mails it out to you. Once you get the e-mail that you are on the list for the pre-publication price you know that you will be notified when the catalogues arrive.

Yep. Got that. But its an in stock item so I just thought it's been along time to ship that's all. When I called to inquire, he was somewhat put off at my inquiry. Still waiting….

Not sure why you are saying it is an "in stock" item. It is not being released until September. FvH's special price is the "pre-publication" price which will be honoured when the catalogues are published and shipped to FvH.
