Thanks 'lithograving' for the images and jogil for your informative point. Personally it's a bit difficult to judge the book on just a few pages so buying it and consulting it is the best way, especially for a first edition. However, from what I understand, the suffixes i, ii, iii are replaced by a, b, c, etc. I'm curious to see how they handled the listings of the definitive Centennials from ie: # 454 to 468 for all fluorescence, tagging and paper types. I'm not really interested in redoing my excel files and identification tags to update these changes. I wonder if the new Unitrade edition will be complementary to this one or follow the path of their old listings.

I'm surprised and disappointed that no other stamp forums mention The Trajan Canada Specialized Stamp Catalogue.
I mean Stampboards and especially THE STAMP FORUM have lots of Canadian collectors who you'd think might be interested in a new Canadian stamp catalogue.
I'm not a member of either one of those but I believe there are members here on SCF who are and in passing might mention the Trajan.
As we all know catalogues are so important to our hobby, especially specialized ones.
I'm having fun going over my Trajan the last few days and constantly find new things of interest.

Hi Robin,
Just a note if not known, Canada Nr.105 Admiral 1c yellow has a Nr.106 2c red for picture.

Thanks for that Hornet; sharp eye.
The worst kind of mistake that I've made over the years while editing is the placement of an incorrect image ... sure wish I knew how that could happen and then get missed in all of the proofing that goes on.
Rats.
Correction has been made for the next edition.

Unitrade also made a typo on page 43 comparing #32 to #23 when it should be #24. I like the way you have two of the three known copies pictured in your catalog instead of a note referring to another stamp number. |

Watermark:
I had hoped to have all three known examples of #32 illustrated but was unable to source the third image before the catalogue had to go to print. Hopefully for the next edition!

Where is the additions and errors page for this new stamp catalogue? I bought my copy at the CSN stamp show in Mississauga. I do like the extra added pictures for some different listed stamp varieties. My concern is whether the Canadian stamp market can handle several such catalogues. I don't know if I'll be able to buy any one catalogue yearly. Two would be out of the question yearly. |

That was what I was wondering as well. For a newly published first edition. |

Give the editors and printer some time to adjust and breathe. With this being the 1st time off the press, incorrect information or pricing errors will sometimes get missed by even the most observent person. I am sure that when incorrect or pricing errors are found and reported to editor or printer, corrections will be made. As to an addendum page of corrections, that is a suggestion for them to take into consideration. Who knows, maybe Trajan will put up a special addendum page on its website, just for that very purpose. I have been in contact with the editor, Robin, over a couple of items I found while reviewing it needing attention. He was appreciative of the information and noted that it would be corrected in following editions. |

Thanks for sharing. My compliments to Ms. Moubray. I spent a pleasant hour taking in that distinguished collection. Some of that material is very difficult to source today. |
