3-ring #45 from Nibe, Denmark.

Not my stamp, but with more than 48 hours with no one posting, I wanted to help move the thread along. If anyone else has a beautiful 45 and wants to post it too, I don't think anyone will complain.

Thank you Jan for 46 and 47, I don't have either of those, but for some reason I have a lot of #48. Here are a couple of different typefaces on different stamps.

To play catch-up with select examples of a few previous numbers...

44 from Chicago, Illinois which used a series of handstamps with numerals in the killers similar to the 1900s-era Doane handstamps, but these are much later:

45 in parcel post style roller cancel from Dallas Texas:

47 in killer of a steel duplex handstamp:

49 in parcel post style roller cancel from Cincinnati, Ohio:

50 in steel duplex from Chelsea, Massachusetts. One of the numbered Boston Zones starting in 1920:

And advancing the series to 51:
51 in steel duplex from Revere, Massachusetts. Another of the numbered Boston Zones starting in 1920:

51 in killer bars, no doubt another of the Chicago, Illinois handstamps like the 44 earlier in this post:

Doremus machine cancel from 51st Street Station in Chicago:

Weekly post...

52: Winthrop, Massachusetts, a Boston area zone number.

53: Chicago, Illinois on Schermack III coil pair:

53: Dallas, Texas parcel post style roller cancel:

54: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania machine cancel:

Advancing to 55:
55: Medford, Massachusetts, another Boston area zone number. An unusual example with two "55" devices on one card, which was mis-fed causing the machine cancel to miss the stamp, subsequently cancelled by a handstamp.

55: Chicago, Illinois machine 55 on coil line pair mis-slit to show partial plate number:
