I have this very small envelope with a blue sent postmark 1849 from Colchester to London with a red postmark 1849 showing I think " K E " beneath PAID. Is this a rare item, how would it be described technically and does it have any value.

Thanks for any answers and help with this.

The London Inland office single-ring "Paid" stamp in red was used during morning duty ("paid" at top, single ring). The two-letter code identifies the person applying the stamp.
