Hello everyone,
I inherited a stamp collection and was told that this stamp might be a bit special and possibly more valuable.
Could you please help me identify it (and, if possible, suggest a value)? I'm having trouble finding reliable information.
Thank you very much.

Sorry this one does not appear to be valuable. It can be found for sale on-line for $5 and appears to be a Cinderella (Germany lost Colonies). Use the photo and do a search by image and this will bring up multiple pages for review.

Hope this helps
Hobsun

Poznan's a lost colony?

There's only three people who can understand the Schleswig-Holstein question, and they're all dead.

I thought Posen (Poznan) was a part of Germany up until the end of World War I. Then it was returned to Poland,,, therefore, a "Lost Colony".

I see whoever came up with those stamps refrained from claiming Königsberg as a "lost colony". Maybe this sheet dates from the inter-war period.

It does not say 'colonies' but 'territories.' Danzig, Posen, Memelland and a couple others were part of Germany itself. Other territories were colonies.
