It would seem the high value roos are in the same league as the dollar value Columbians of the US, or vice versa. I just got a catalog which included Australia and have been poring over the first issues. It is every bit as mindboggling as the early Great Britain or US. Those who have the specialized collections of the early Australia really have a treasure.

Plateflaw, hello and thank you for the nice comment. Twenty five years ago the Mrs made me a deal that if I STOP going down to the pub (hotel) playing pool and wasting money 'she would allow' me to buy 'some' high value Roos etc with the money we would save.

Only now do I appreciate what she done.

finches to be honest I don't own many at all, and the ones I do own are in pretty average condition.

One of these days I will be able to afford some nice Mint examples.

Hi Perfs14 and Roos, it is great you both have joined SCF!

I just picked up some KGV's at my club meeting Wednesday night. I haven't got around to really looking at them, but I did see some cracks and compartment lines on a few of them when I first Inspekted them!

Have a Good One,

Skilo54

P.s.- Perfs, the mods and some of the membership don't like coloured text around here, so you'll have to save the Beserker Pink for the other spot! Just giving you the heads-up! LOL
