Purchased a full 50 stamp pane with two possible constant varieties.

The first - yellow spot on boot - position 5.

The second - spur on heel
I was previously aware of this variety, but had not seen an image or knew the position number. This is position 18.

How does the yellow spot (pos 5) correspond to "border patrol" in Unitrade catalogue?

Edit: In my haste I referenced wrong stamp as pointed out below.

You have referenced 847ii - Arctic Islands - which is a different issue.

Blackjag, your are correct. I looked at images and grabbed description below which is definetly 847. Interesting that it has not been picked up before, but then again, maybe has not been checked into at the archives. Will have to go through mine too.

Another possible variety occurring on several stamps from the same pane as my other images.

A small yellow dot on the skier's leg.
