I collect Canada WW2 living in the UK most of my info comes from the web.

I have just got a cover from Operation Eskimo which was held in Saskatchewan at the end of WW2.
On the back of the cover, with the address shown just as "Mrs Hanson (?), Nithi River" in British Columbia, is a date stamp for Nithi River dated the 10th of January 1945.

The only info I can find on the web is about the Nithi River itself. There is no mention of any community with that name and certainly not a post office.

Can anyone help with any info re Nithi River and its post office

Thank you for that. I had not seen this specific web page before. It should be useful in future although post offices etc is slightly outside of what I normally collect. As I said originally I was interested due to my failure to find anything about it on the web

I don't think that Glenannan and Nithi River were the same postoffice.

In the book "The Post Offices of British Columbia" by Melvin, the Nithi River post office was located 7 miles SW of Fraser Lake at the east end of Francois Lake (probably near the mouth of the Nithi River), while Glenannan was located 5 miles south of Endako and is near the Stellako River.

Admittedly, the two sites are close to each other, but there is a distance of about 4 km between them.
