Welcome to the Forum.

In the General Discussion area, there is a sub-forum titled Have You inherited Some Stamps? Start Here.

A few images to give a flavor of what you have are useful (practically necessary); the pictures can be supplemented with some further descriptions.

The more you can show, the more accurate the members can be in giving you some idea of what you have. Within reason. Start with a few pictures and let it go from there.

Note that no one can offer to buy your stamps, and you cannot offer to sell your stamps through the Forum, until you've made fifty "quality" posts. That isn't the main point of the Forum, anyway. People can give you an idea of what you have, and ideas of what you might do with them. Also keep in mind that you aren't getting an appraisal of your stamps. You're getting some quick (and free) takes on what you're able to show.

Until you have 50 posts, you cannot send nor receive emails.

Read how to upload photos here, it is very easy. FAQ and a seach of uploading photos will help you out. Edit: Start here for example; https://goscf.com/t/90780 .

Also, check the navigation bar on the left side of the screen. There is a tutorial for uploading images. It's only tricky once.

It's at https://www.stampcommunity.org/tuto...g-images.asp

Click on "reply to topic"
Click on "upload image"
Click on the button to choose a file (mine shows a Dutch value, so I do not know the exact text)
Select file and click on "Upload to NAME's post"

It used to be complicated, but with the new uploader it is very easy.
