I bought this on
ebay a while back - I'm looking at it closely and wondering if it is genuine.
- Seller is "daveintc" - who appears to be a legitimate dealer with 7000+ items for sale.
- Presumably a block from a double-sided booklet of 20, Serpentine Die Cut 11 x 10 3/4, printed by Banknote Corporation of America
- The microprinting looks just like my genuine 5658.
- The printing fidelity matches my genuine reference.
- The sky color is a little brighter than my genuine 5658 - could just be normal variation
- There is nothing on the back - apparently the stamps/labels on the reverse were removed.
- There is a light impression of the SDC visible on the reverse where the cuts should be - probably for the cuts on the other side of the double-sided booklet.
- There is a "long hump" near the top of both sides and between the stamps - one on the left "points" down - middle and right ones "point" up. My genuine reference does not have this feature - this is the most curious feature of this block of stamps.
Any thoughts on this one?

[edited the title to be more correct - "shifted die cut" instead of "misperf"
