Booklet stamps issued for the Independent Christian Associations.

Engraver : Arne Wallhorn (1921-1994) was an apprentice under Sven Ewert.
He engraved 168 Swedish stamps during his career (1953-1986).
Wallhorn was in line to be the next court engraver after Ewert died
in 1959, but along came Slania and you know the rest.
I don't think he got the recognition he deserved working
under Slania's shadow.

Two stamps issued for Norden 1980 showing 19th Century Swedish
regional furniture.

Engravers : Zlatko Jakuš & Mikael Askwall (1959-1985)Below is the only Swedish stamp Askwall ever engraved.
I don't know know if he engraved any for other countries, there is just no info available on him.

Lenin...his image must be on more stamps then anyone else maybe with the
exception of Queen Elizabeth II

Scott 2890a

Re-engraved..the portrait shading is much heavier. Lines on collar are straight and unbroken, rather than dotted

Sweden issued this 1979 stamp booklet to promote agriculture.

It looks as if the engraver used deep, solid lines to achieve these engravings which I find quite different from previous Swedish stamps.

I also like the colours in these, especially the golden yellow wheat field and green combine.

Designer : Svenolov Ehren

Engraver : Zlatko Jakuš
